Jon Stevens joined Incentivesmart in December 2020 as Head of Operations. He's certainly no stranger to the industry... 20 years on and he's still loving it!
As Head of Operations, Jon is the go-to man for all things (you guessed it!) operational. From managing existing supplier relationships and onboarding new ones, managing the Operations team, enhancing our catalogue offering, owning certification projects, (just to name but a few things!) Jon is already proving to be an amazing addition to the Incentivesmart family.
A rugby fanatic, a keen traveller and of course, an incredible leader, we're excited to have Jon join our team!
Let's get to know him!
Hi Jon! Let's start with a bit about your work background and experience.
I got into the industry completely by accident after a friend put me in touch with a local business. What was intended to only be a summer job ended up being the start of a career currently spanning over 20 years! I’ve worked in a variety of client-facing positions across sectors including automotive, finance, technology and retail. I’ve always enjoyed working with clients and cultivating strong, lasting relationships. My role at Incentivesmart is more internally focused and gives me the opportunity to use my experience to support the wider business in the delivery of our fantastic loyalty and engagement programmes. I really enjoy the variety of the role and all the new projects I am involved with! It also gives me the chance to work with all the teams across the business, as well as clients and our supplier partners. I think my role will continue to evolve and I am massively looking forward to the challenges this will bring!
What's your favourite thing about Incentivesmart
The people – what a fantastic team! I have been made to feel so welcome and already Incentivesmart feels like home!
Tell us a bit about life at home
I am hoping to get married later this year after having to postpone a couple of times. I’m massively into my sports and fitness, especially rugby. I'm still playing, although seriously in the twilight of my career! I was lucky enough to captain Bletchley 2nd team for a number of years until stepping down recently. This is something that I am massively proud of and I cannot wait for the start of the new season! I love to travel and am looking forward to when we will be able to do so again, hopefully the next trip will be to Mauritius for my honeymoon. I am something of a foodie and really enjoy cooking (and eating!)
