Kieran is a Client Success Manager here at Incentivesmart. He provides support and guidance to clients and helps them get the most out of their reward and recognition programme.
When he’s not working, he enjoys spending time and making memories with his young family.
After an impressive 17 years serving in the Royal Marines, Kieran has some seriously incredible experiences and stories to share. He really is a truly inspirational individual and we’re so grateful to have him be part of our team.
Let’s get to know him…
Hi Kieran! Let’s start with a bit about your work background and experience.
After leaving school I embarked on a career in the Military, this had always been a boyhood dream of mine. I ended up serving in the Royal Marines for 17 years. Unfortunately, medical discharge led to my military career coming to a premature end sooner than I would have liked. However, I was lucky enough to serve with some of the finest fighting men this country has produced. My service saw me undertake combat operations in some of the world’s most austere and unstable environments from the banks of the mighty Euphrates to the snow-capped mountains of the Afghan/Pakistan border.
After leaving the military I worked for both the MOD and MOJ before completely changing tack and working for Trek Bicycle for several years.
I feel extremely lucky to have already achieved many of my life and career goals, and still have a great future ahead with Incentivesmart. Many people never manage to truly experience or reach their full potential once, let alone have the chance to do it twice in one lifetime!
What’s your favourite thing about Incentivesmart?
Your actions and effort make a difference. I have trust in the leadership and direction. I’m very happy to spend my time (the most precious commodity we have) working here.
Tell us a bit about life at home.
Outside of work my life revolves around my family, my two little boys keep me and my partner on our toes. I really enjoy the outdoors and wilderness, as a family we spend a lot of time outdoors. Long walks with the dog and kids are the order of the day!
I was a keen rugby player back in the day, although I no longer lace up the boots, I still enjoy the game from the side-lines.
Prior to the birth of my first boy, I was often seen clad in lycra out on my bike. Road cycling is something I’d done from a young age with my Dad. I keep threatening to get the bike back out one day, although I’m not sure I’ll fit in the shorts now! I also have an interest in horology and whisky. Cheers!
